Terms and Conditions of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · Registering with MenuMaster implies full acceptance of these Terms.

1. Scope

MenuMaster is a SaaS platform for creating and managing digital menus for the restaurant industry: online menus with QR codes, PDF export, AI-assisted import, allergen detection and translations. The service is provided "as is" within the limits of these Terms.

2. Account

Registration requires truthful, up-to-date information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity carried out through your account. Minimum age: 18. Use is reserved for professional operators and individuals for lawful purposes.

3. Plans, payments and renewals

  • The Free plan is free with limited features. The Pro plan is paid (monthly or yearly) via PayPal or Stripe.
  • Billing details are mandatory to activate paid plans; the user is responsible for their accuracy.
  • Renewal is not automatic unless otherwise indicated; upon expiry the plan reverts to Free without data loss (Free limits apply).
  • Right of withdrawal: for consumers, 14 days under applicable EU consumer law. By immediately activating the digital service and using its features, the consumer acknowledges loss of the right of withdrawal, subject to express consent at purchase.

4. User content and menu responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload and publish (names, prices, descriptions, images, logos) and warrant that you hold the rights to it.
  • Allergens: AI allergen detection and translation features are support tools and may contain errors. Final verification of allergen and ingredient information, required under Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, rests solely with the restaurateur. MenuMaster is not liable for omissions or inaccuracies in published information.
  • Uploading unlawful, misleading, defamatory content or content infringing third-party rights is prohibited.

5. AI features

AI processing (import, allergens, translations) is subject to monthly limits based on your plan and is performed via the Anthropic Claude API. AI output may contain inaccuracies: you agree to verify it before publishing.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, software, templates and the MenuMaster brand remain the property of the operator. Uploaded content remains your property; you grant MenuMaster the technical licence needed to provide the service (hosting, processing, public display of published menus).

7. Availability and limitation of liability

We strive to ensure maximum service continuity, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months. Nothing excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts in case of breach of these Terms, abusive use or non-payment, with prior notice where possible. You may close your account at any time from settings; data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

Substantial changes will be communicated with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence have jurisdiction; otherwise, the operator's forum. ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
